Andy and I had a wonderful christmas. We, as always, spent christmas eve at grandma & grandpa Youngs house, brought a fun little (not so little) puzzle along that everyone helped put together, i beat Mark & Andys butts at UNO (also, not really), etc. Then Andy and I did our new tradition that night and went around town and looked at christmas lights. Christmas morning Santa visited my moms house nice & early so we headed over there to open presents with the family, and then went to my dads around noon and played some good ole fashion hide&seek with my little sisters, following back over to my moms for dinner, and finishing the night over at my aunts back where my dad was. It was a long yet very fun family day.

So its been forever since it has snowed in Sacramento, and according to the weather channel its suppose to be snowing tonight and tomorrow, and if you ask me that is CRAZY! I plan on staying up all night to watch it snow : ) LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOOW!

Renovation Part 1 : Kitchen

So as some of you know, Andy and I are taking over his parents old house, and to make it kind of our own little newlywed place we decided to do a little renovation to the place. It actually works out perfect because the house is practically empty so we can make it as messy and unliveable as possible right now while i am still at my own place with my roomate, Kelley. We really lucked out when it came to TILE due to my connections with a friend who works for a tiling company. We got thousands of dollars worth of tile for FREE! well actually it costed about 20 bucks in which we exchanged for some good old BUD LIGHT : )

We started with the kitchen, because we felt that it would be the most expensive, we bought a new stove and sink, painted the walls, added new fixtures, and once i move in (after the wedding) we will have a new kitchen table as well. Here are some pictures from before and after, enjoy!

New Niece or Nephew on the way!

Andys older sister Jennifer is pregnant with baby number TWO! We are so excited for both her and Derek! Ive been wanting to talk about this for a while but im still trying to get the hang of this and also wanted to wait for the perfect time to share this information! They already have a little boy, T-rev who is our favorite : ) and will be the cutest little ring barrier i have ever seen. Jennifer and Derek are waiting to know the sex until he/or she is born, like they did with Trevor, although i think i already have a pretty good idea on what that may be! We will just have to wait and find out on or around May 19th, 2010. Which i may add is the perfect date to have the little one because its just about two whole months before the wedding! : ) Nothing like perfect timing D&J!

63 to 38 Huskies

Andys first basketball game was last night, and they are off to a good start! All that tough love coaching payed off! The final score was 68 to 38. Grandma and Grandpa Young came for support, and also my cousin Katrina. Needless to say they may have to come for every game now for good luck : )

I dont know what it is..

I have recently discovered this wierd obsession with Brad Paisley. He is just so talented! I have been to two of his concerts, and they have by far been one of my favorite country concerts! I just feel like i can relate a lot to his songs. His song 'Then' is Andy and my first dance song, and i have a couple of other songs for our wedding in mind too! And i love his wife too! she is so freakin cute, one of my favorite movies is 'Father of the Bride' starring her!

New Roomie

My Roomie recently got a little puppy. Her name is Martini-Grace. I call her gracie, and sometime Teenie. She gets pretty confused, but she pretty much will answer to whatever name you call her! She is half poodle half maltise, 6 pounds and still growing and i love her so much! She is super crazy, but one you stop playing with her and watch tv or whatever, she just lays down right next to you. She always has to be in the same room with you no matter what it is your doing. When Kel and i are cooking dinner she will just come lay on the kitchen rug right next to our feet. Kelley taught her how to sit and then shake our hand, she gets a little confused sometimes but she is catching on! She loves the backyard, and just recently created her own little doggy door to come back inside whenever she pleases, aka running throught the screen door until it breaks enough for her to squeeze in! She is the sweetest little dog.
